Joshua Kang
Korean Congregation Lead Pastor

Joshua has been serving at Lakeview since 1996. He previously served at an English Ministry of a Korean church and as a youth pastor on the West Coast prior to moving to Chicago. After graduating from UC Berkeley, he went on to receive his M.Div and Th.M. (in Leadership) from Fuller Theological Seminary, and has completed coursework at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School for his D.Min.
Joshua is the happy husband of Lanna, and the delighted father of Christy and Timothy. In his free time, you can find him riding his bike, traveling, and hanging out with his family and friends most likely at a buffet restaurant. After all these years of ministry experience, his greatest joys are seeing people saved and transformed, experiencing God’s glory and presence, and doing life in a loving community.
