About us
OUR STORY
Lakeview Covenant Church is a multigenerational church located in the northern suburbs of Chicagoland.

We first started in 1990 as the English Ministry of Lakeview Korean Presbyterian Church in Niles, IL. After outgrowing the facilities of Lakeview KPC, on Feb. 22, 2004, we were given the blessing to launch as an independent church to pursue the vision of making disciples of all nations.

It has been a humbling and exhilarating experience to see Gods Kingdom multiply over the years. In 2003, we multiplied and planted our first daughter church, Cityview, in downtown Chicago. In 2005, we celebrated the birth of our overseas daughter church, Vida Visible, in Nicaragua, which soon multiplied itself into two more congregations. In 2006, we had the opportunity to become a muti-site church by launching a second campus in Palatine, IL in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, which later relocated to Vernon Hills in 2010. In 2011, we came into possession of our current building in Northbrook and launched a Korean Campus. After seven years of faithful outreach, the congregation at Vernon Hills rejoined the Northbrook campus in December 2013.

Lakeview is a group of imperfect people who trust and rejoice in our perfect God. We recognize that even through mistakes, successes, and challenges, God shows us how to be a Gospel-centered community that makes disciples of all nations and that we must simply and faithfully listen and follow through. Its our desire that Lakeview would be a safe place where people from different
walks of life can come and find the life-transforming love of Christ, and we invite you to be a part of that journey.
