The Story of Lakeview Church
Lakeview is a growing multi-ethnic and multi-site church. Lakeview first started in 1990 as the English Congregation of the Lakeview Korean Presbyterian Church (Niles, IL). On Feb. 22, 2004, Lakeview was launched in Northbrook, IL, as an independent church to pursue the vision of ‘Making Disciples of All Nations.’

It has been a humbling and exhilarating experience to see God’s Kingdom multiply over the years. In 2003, we planted our first daughter church, Cityview, in downtown Chicago. In 2005, we celebrated the birth of our overseas daughter church, Vida Visible, in Nicaragua, which soon multiplied itself into two churches. In 2006, we became a multi-site church by launching our second campus in Palatine, IL. In 2009, the Northbrook campus moved to the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie to reach more people with the Gospel of Christ. And in 2010, the Palatine Campus also moved to the Sullivan Community Center in Vernon Hills for the same purpose.

Lakeview is a group of imperfect people who trust and rejoice in our perfect God. It is our desire that Lakeview will be a safe place where people from different walks of life can come and find the life-transforming love of Christ. We invite you to come and be part of the Lakeview family!
